Camping by the sea in Lattes
Easy access to the sea from the campsite
The campsite is located 500 meters from the beach road. If you use your car, you’ll be there in less than 10 minutes. You can also get there by bike (we rent bikes); depending on your pedal power and the beach you choose, you’ll be on the sand between 20 and 40 minutes after you set off.
The cycle path from the beach road to your arrival is flat. If you don’t have a car or a bike, you can get there by streetcar. Allow 45 minutes to pick up the streetcar (800 meters from the campsite), take the shuttle to the streetcar terminus (10 minutes) and get off the shuttle at your chosen beach stop (10 to 20 minutes).
Please note that the shuttle only runs from mid-June to early September. Outside this period, the regular bus service is available. For further information, please contact reception.
The beaches of Palavas-les-flots, La Grande-Motte and Carnon
The nearest and most accessible beaches from our campsite in Lattes are Carnon, Palavas and La Grande Motte.
Carnon beach
Carnon and its Petit Travers beach. A remarkable and singular area where dunes, wooded areas and beaches follow one another. It’s also a prime spot for kite surfers.
This exceptional area offers the advantage of being able to enjoy the Mediterranean without houses or concrete buildings!
The beach at Palavas-les-Flots
Palavas-les-Flots has 7 km of fine sandy beaches to choose from.
You’re more tempted by sports on the beach, lazing on a nice towel, or strolling with your feet in the water…
You’ll find the beach that’s right for you.
The Grande-Motte beach
La Grande Motte also boasts 7 km of fine sandy beaches.
The Grand Travers beach is a majestic stretch of sand.
This large, wide beach is the wildest in La Grande Motte.
The dunes and pine forests upstream from this beach are protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral.
Its waters, whose cleanliness has been certified by the Pavillon Bleu for 20 years, have been designated a Natura 2000 site to help conserve its Posidonia meadows and underwater life.

Water sports activities
