In addition to all the sites of great tourist interest to visit in the Hérault region, you’ll find plenty of activities to enjoy on your own, with family or friends, in the vicinity of our campsite in Lattes.

The Méjean Nature Park less than 2 km away

In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, the Méjean nature park, a magnificent protected natural site, has preserved its wilderness character. You’ll discover exceptionally beautiful flora and fauna along the many trails. Preserved from urbanization, this 465-hectare area is a meeting place between land and water. During your hike, you’ll pass through a mosaic of varied landscapes that are home to numerous species of birds, as well as Camargue horses and bulls, depending on the season. Located 1600 m from the campsite, you can get there on foot, by bike or by car, and you can even hike by bike or scooter! Plus: there are trails for people with reduced mobility. Muséee archéologique Henri Prades

The Lattara Archaeological Site and the Henri Prades Museum

Less than 2 km from the campsite, you can visit the Henri Prades Museum, located near the Lattara archaeological site. An ancient port dating from the 4th century BC, Lattara was an important economic meeting place. The permanent collections of the Henri Prades Museum feature numerous remains from excavations carried out on the site, including a reconstruction of a Gallic settlement. A fascinating discovery and an immense leap in time await you in this museum. Closed on Tuesdays. Admission €5, concessions under 26 €3. Free admission on the 1st Sunday of the month.

A fitness trail 700 metres away

The Bonneterre fitness trail features large green spaces and a jogging path that circles the park. For children, there’s a playground and ping-pong tables, and for your comfort, it’s equipped with benches and water points. Located 700 meters from the campsite, it’s open all year round and free to use.

The Lattes Sunday morning market

Every Sunday morning, the market is held in the center of Lattes. Renowned throughout the region and beyond, you’ll find everything here, and especially all the regional specialities. Whether it’s the artisan cheesemaker from the Cévennes, the greengrocer from Mauguio, the chicken farmer or the butcher from Larzac, they all offer top-quality products. The success of this market makes parking difficult. So take the cycle path from the campsite and get there by bike in less than 10 minutes!

A skate park 700 metres away

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the campsite, you’ll find a skate park open all year round.

This outdoor facility has an asphalt floor and a 26 m long (15 m wide) riding area.

Here you can skate, rollerblade or cycle.
